Forsyth County Schools COVID-19 Testing

Visit Information:

  • Rapid Testing: We use the leading rapid Covid test on the market and appointments to reduce your wait time. Test results delivered in 15 minutes, but please note the entire process can take over an hour.

     

  • Open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.  Safe and Convenient Testing located at 872 Buford Road, Cumming, GA 30341 (behind Q Korean Steakhouse)

Any member of the Forsyth County School community, whether employee, student, household member, or school affiliate, has guaranteed access to rapid COVID-19 testing and PCR confirmatory tests.  All appointments are encouraged and can be made within 48 hours by pressing this link:

Please note that every person wanting testing needs to be inputted separately and needs to enter their name, phone number, email, and date of birth.  Your appointment time will be immediately confirmed by a text message and you will be given a link to register on your phone.

Cost / Insurance:

Return to School Guidance

To assist us, please do the following:

  • Take your child’s temperature each morning before coming to school

  • Check your email each morning before your child leaves home for messages from the school regarding any direct exposure and quarantine

  • Wear a mask and maintain distance from others if you need to enter the school

PLEASE DO NOT send your child to school if they have COVID-19 symptoms or are awaiting a COVID-19 test result.  Your decisions and actions impact others, so please act responsibly to keep our schools healthy and safe. COVID-19 symptoms include:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

If your child is experiencing any of these symptoms in the 24 hours leading up to the school day, you must keep them at home and seek out testing.
